本研究室は、建築・都市・環境の3つを軸とした建築意匠計画・設計系研究室です。 建築・都市の意匠/計画/設計に関する幅広い研究、建築・都市と環境の調和や持続可能な開発、空間における人の行動や心理に関する研究、イベントや空間演出などの環境デザインにも取り組んでいます。また、「グローカルアクト (GlocalAct)」（グローバルとローカルの双方の視点から考え行動する）をキーワードとして、国内外での研究及び設計活動にも多数参画しており、大学の地元である半田市亀崎町から、北欧、東南アジアに至るまで、様々なフィールドで活動しています。

Daishi Sakaguchi laboratory is a laboratory, which focuses on architectural design and planning on the axis of architecture, urban and environment. The topics of the lab vary from wider range of the researches on architectural and urban design and planning, the harmony in architecture/urban/environment, sustainable development and human behavior/psychology in space as well as environmental design. The activities in the lab are expanding with the philosophy “GlocalAct”, which means “think and act from both global and local point of view”, to various international projects in different fields from local area to Northern Europe and South East Asian countries.
